2025 19th International Conference on Complex Medical Engineering was successfully held!
On August 1-3, 2025 19th International Conference on Complex Medical Engineering was successfully held in Suzhou, China! The conference was hosted by ICME, organized by Lanzhou Universityand AEIC Academic Exchange Center. More than 150 experts, scholars and students from Kyoto University, South China University of Technology, Beijing Institute of Technology, Shanghai University, Shenzhen University of Technology, Changchun University of Science and Technology, Huaqiao University, Liaoning Normal University attended the meeting.
The meeting was chaired by Prof. Bin Hu, deputy secretary and vice president of Suzhou University of Science and Technology. The opening ceremony of the meeting was presided over by Conference Co-Chair Professor JunlongChen from South China University of Technology (an IEEE Fellow, AAAS Fellow, and IAPR Fellow), Conference Co-Chair Professor QingLi from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (an IEEE Fellow and IET Fellow), and Professor Qinglin Zhao, Vice Dean of the School of Information Science and Engineering at Lanzhou University, gave an opening speech.
The conference invited famous scholars such as Professor Hongmin Cai, Vice Dean of the School of Future Technology, South China University of Technology, Professor Riki Matsumoto, Kyoto University, Professor Li Yang, Vice Dean of the School of Automation Science and Electrical Engineering, Beihang University, Professor Min Li, Vice Dean of the School of Computer Science, Central South University, Associate Professor Dan Zhang, Tsinghua University, Researcher Zhaofei Yu, Peking University, Professor Xiaowei Li, Lanzhou University, to give wonderful keynote speeches, share the latest academic research results, and arouse the discussion and thinking of the participants.
Among them, CME 2025 featured 3 thematic parallel sessions: 【Innovations in Medical Imaging Techniques】, 【Cognitive Neuroscience and Technology】, and 【Exchange Meeting of Academic Journal】. Professor Cai Hanshu from Lanzhou University, Dr. Liu Yuanyuan from the Editorial Office of the journal Security and Safety, Dr. Li Tian from Elsevier Publishing Group, and Assistant Professor Suo Dingjie from Beijing Institute of Technology delivered invited reports respectively.
At the closing ceremony, Professor Toshiya Murai from Kyoto University (Conference Co-Chair and President of the International College of Medical Engineering (ICME)) and Professor JinglongWu from Okayama University (Conference Co-Chair) delivered closing remarks for the conference. It is worth mentioning that the Conference Organizing Committee selected 4 excellent papers, 4 excellent young scholar presentations, and 3 excellent posters, and awarded prizes to the recipients. It is hoped that by recognizing these outstanding research talents and achievements, more scholars will be inspired to continue exploring and striving for greater heights in the field of medical engineering.
